Some collections of images: A story in German with some images: My opinion about Brakunst-Live: - a very good organisation particularly for the first attempt, p.e. shuttle bus between underground and location, a special glass, a good public relations, many articles in the mass media (Süddeutsche Zeitung, essen + trinken, Landküche etc.). - a nice location (a tram museum within a high, bright hall) - a good audience (no mob because 20 Euro entrance fee). - a good mix between small breweries and great brands. - many beers I have never tasted before. - a growing part of the great and middle breweries want to participate in the German craft breweries niche (Neumarkter Lammsbräu, Braufactum/Radeberger). In June/July Maisel will offer new craft beers: (Maisel was not an exhibitor). The festival beer of the Hofbräu was more a fun project of the brewmaster for this beer festival. They will not offer this beer in the Hofbräuhaus. It was a good balanced pale Lager with much hops, but also a great sweetness/caramel. A beer outside of each beerstyle. Too sweet for me, but many visitors have liked it. Many visitors were impressed by the great beer range of Camba Bavaria Background Camba Bavaria belongs to Braukon (brewing technology for pub and industrial breweries). I have visited this beer festival only on saturday (the day with the most visitors). Next year/festival I will come for 2 days. There were too many beers to taste. And there were to many beer geeks to talk.
