| 'Greene King IMS reports that lfl sales in the 18 weeks to 2 September at its retail division were up 5.1% with lfl food ahead 5.2%, lfl drink sales rising 5% and lfl room sales growth of 4.9%. In brewing and brands, core brand own brew volume was down 0.9% with total beer volume ahead 0.4%. It added that margins, profit, cashflow and Balance Sheet remain in line with its expectations but expects consumer confidence to stay subdued.' Keep drinking the Abbott! |
