Galway

Well, I also went to the Oslo Pub in Salt Hill -- which is where the Galway Bay Brewery is -- but I didn't see that they had anything the Salt House didn't. I'd go to whichever one was closest. The Wine/Food/Beer group has a couple of other pubs in Salt Hill -- the Cottage Bar and the Scholar's Rest (which has a B&B) but I didn't visit those. I was more looking for beer, not for pubs -- there were lots of interesting pubs with all the standard mass produced stuff plus Galway Hooker. If I was staying longer they'd be worth visiting for the music, atmosphere, etc. but I was time limited.
