"Zwickel" is straight from the lagertank by means of a "Zwickelhahn" (a special device with a key - beer is not yet intended for sale),"U" or Ungespundet is beer ready for sale, usually from a barrel filled from a lagertank, without building up CO2 pressure (Ungespundet means literally "without a bunge"). Technically the beers may not be very different, albeit Zwickelbier may still need some extra time in the lagertank/lagering vessel.
