Bamberg breweries/Kellers for a group night out
Posted by FredW on 2014-01-22 07:58:04
First of all, Spezial closes at 2pm on Saturday so that one is out. Spezial Keller will be open -- their indoor seating is a bit limited, though I have no idea how busy they will be on a March Saturday night.

Generally I make a reseveration if the group is 8 people or larger. On weekends that is going to be a must --it can be hard to find room for 2 let alone 14.

I haven't run across a place that doesn't take a reservation.

And a note on how it is done: They will place a sign on the table that says something like "Reserved 18:00" and maybe your name or maybe just the number in your party. The table is open for use until then and you may have to chase off people sitting there. Be polite, though. If you can't find your table you can ask one of the staff.
