Interesting article on german beer

There has been an on-going attempt to revive extinct or near-extinct styles in Germany. Consider things like Berliner or Lichtenhainer Weisse, Gose, or Grätzer (and don't ever use that term in Poland, where it's Grodziskie and nothing else). But brewing has become akin to a form of ecumenicalism. Blame the Yanks, who are experimenting with everything in sight.
