| We are staying in Bug campingplatz quite often (in summer once per month), it is nice and cheap place (about 8EUR/person with everything, if you are staying in a tent or so), and the advantage is that you don't have to book it in advance. Bier-places that can be visited in summer: - Höfen Biergarten, about 30 minutes walk in forest, http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=301 - various local beers von Fass - Pettstadt Keller with Löwenbräu Buttenheim, http://www.bierfranken.eu/biergarten-detail.php?id=173, about 25 minutes walk - Bamberk, about 50-60 minutes to Mahr's Public bus service is average (once a hour on weekends) and doesn't go in the evenings (you have to call for Anruf-linie). Taxi to Bamberg costs from Campingplatz to Bamberg center about 11 EUR. We were walking also to more distant places (Debring, Untergreuth, Reundorf, ...) |
