Thanks Gerhard - and Fred, I remember reading that before but it's a really interesting and poignant article.

I've always intended visiting the museum in Bamberg but somehow never got round to it - I wonder why! I'll try to endeavour to do so next visit in a couple of weeks.

Hope that you may have some Huppendorfer and the Weyermann left, Gerhard!
