I think you mean glass and steel?

Anyhow you're right. I only use glass carboys for both primary and secondary fermentation. I had problem with the PET carboys that I was using for a while. Some of them we're leaking. I later found out that they get damaged by using PBW (Professional brewers wash). Apparently it eats through the PET. Since I like using PBW as an effective cleaner I've ditched the PET carboys for all glass.
