Eschawo midweek - when exactly?

Concur with Mark and Don's remarks.  Have never stayed in a hotel but people advise me that Weisser Schwan is really nice and I believe that it is a bit cheaper than Oberpfalzer Hof.  It also serves excellent Zoigl brewed by Robert Sperber of Beim Binner.

If you fancy an apartment, you could not do better than stay with Johanna Mann, sister of our late friend Charly.  She is a really lovely person and her apartments are excellent.  Also, you are almost in the centre of town - 5 minute walk to all the Zoiglstube.  You are really lucky to be there for Schlosshof because Peter Weisse arguably brews the best Zoigl in Eschawo and Mark and Fred can vouch for the quality (and quantity!) of Lizzie's cooking.  Definitely take a trip up to Kack'n - maybe the best Zoigl in Neuhaus - you could possibly squeeze in a visit on Saturday morning, as the Zoiglstube tend to open fairly early.

Only 6 weeks to our own visit!
