OT: Bike Trip Google Earth Flyover Videos |

| Getting excited -- two weeks from today I'm on a plane to Bamberg (well to Frankfurt). A few days to rest and then it's our ride to Rostock. Playing around with Google Earth I made some flyover "videos" (actually just screen recordings) of our planned route and uploaded them to YouTube. You can see them at www.TheMadBrewer.com or directly on You Tube here Probably not all that interesting but I think it is amazing what you can see from space. At once point you could see a flock of sheep in a field. It made me think of the Ballykissangel episode where the locals tell Eamon that the EU was counting sheep by satellite and he built a bunch of fake sheep to fool the satellites. |
