Ah, I though that you are talking about how long is the beer OK BEFORE it is tapped :-) 

Yes, of course in such case the beer must be drinked in hours, not days. 

Interesting idea with CO2 cask breather. I know that it is sometimes used in many-taps UK pubs, but I couldn't imagine that somebody will use it for franconia Fass :)
