Indeed. On my first ever visit there, a weekday early afternoon, she was making bread when I arrived and asked for beer. She cleaned the dough off her hands, took me back into the cooler where she had the barrel set up (it's not always there in the hallway, depending on how busy the place is, I suppose) and gave me one. Self-service though, that's pretty special. Honestly though, I don't see much difference between the keg and gravity barrel versions of the Lager. The keg Export has more character in any case. |
