Ta for  the link,Barry.I have booked a couple of nights in Aufsess.I agree it looks foody. looks comfortable for a base though ,and easy to get to by bus from Ebermannstadt. Re Forcheim, the place I remember  was close to another tap.So either Hebendez or Neder look like the one I recall.we will have to have those drinks there and see if my memory can be flushed out.dont know  if you will have moved up to Ebensfeld by then?
