| Agreed on congratulating Gerhard -- I have only just now read the article. The Bamberger Reiter == horseman, just as the Vier Reiter der Apokalypse == The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. "Horseman" sounds more fitting to me, owing to the importance of the sculpture. Certainly better than "Bamberger Equestrian". |
