| Yes, 'U Fleků' is pretty horrible... If You are looking for small breweries, try 'Vinohradsky Pivovar' in Vinohrady, a newly erected, non-touristy brewpub with a small, but good selection of home-made food. Even though You'll meet there tourists, You should pay a visit to 'Zlý Časy', one of the biggest selections of well kept beers in the czech capital. If You want to enjoy a real good Pilsner Urquell, there are several watering holes , even in the center of town: 'U jelinku' (no tourists), Lokál (Dlouha ulíce), 'U hrocha' (close to the UK embassy) or 'U černého vola' (at the Loreto monastery).
