| Came to my senses when I woke up this morning, realising it'd be stupid for me to spend 90€ on a 3-hour train trip to go sit with thousands of drunk tourists in a tent drinking 10€/litre beer I know already will be a chore to finish even a fourth of, just for the sake of having done it once. (Would like some roast ox though.) (A 3-hour ICE trip ain't that bad either though.) A bottle of Hacker-Pschorr --the richest, most complex of the Münchner Oktoberfests-- last night helped with this return to sanity. Or, more accurately, the half of the bottle I could manage to drink, with it being so sweet, overly strong, and much too simple as it is even as the most "complex" of the bottled ones. |
