Döner is a traditional turkish food. But the German variant is different: with salad, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, white and red cabbage. Also the sauces are different and the used meat varieties (not mutton, but veal, chicken and turkey). Around 16.000 Döner shops in Germany. The pikes are made in around 250 enterprises. A share of 80% of all Döners in Europe is delivered by German enterprises (most of them in ownership of Turks - migrants). 3.5 billion Euro sales per year. 600 tons meat per day. |
