OT: A long weekend in the mountains

Augustiner in Salzberg is a great beer garden and beer hall. The beer is also fantastic. If it really mattered i.e. if i had to choose 1 over the other it would be Augustiner. But not for the location - nothing wrong with Augustiner but it doesn't really compare. There is no great view, lake or fresh mountain air, being in the centre of a city. But it's splitting hairs - they're both great. 

I'm not sure what to comment on your recent 'epiphany' - I made my thoughts clear about bottled pilsner urquell (especially with so much good beer already here) but each to their own.
