OK no problem. Very vague if you're saying beer is cheaper in the UK than Munich :)

Just as a point of interest as I noted you used the word 'generally', the average Munich price is 3-5EUR with exceptions like Augustiner (2,70EUR) and Ayinger (5,20EUR), plus of course more in higher end establishments. But if you take a normal currency exchange (i.e. before the Brexit vote), and the average cost of a beer in Munich being 4EUR then in actual fact it's cheaper than the UK average of, say GBP3.50. And I'm not including London (or the Black Country as an example in the other direction). 

Just an observation, nothing scientific, and all depends where in the UK you drink of course. But also where in Munich.
