| Back in 2007 the place in Unterhaid was called "Brauhaus Gambrinus" and their house beer was brewed at Maisal Bamberg. It was a nice stop on a bike ride to Stettfeld. When Maisel closed they started to serve Schlossbrauerei and about a year after that it changed it's name to "Gaststätte Gambrinus." I've always wondered if Schlossbrauerei made them do that. Initially I seem to remember at that time they were only serving Reckendorf branded beers (no house beers) but I haven't been in a while as I had no need for those when Stettfeld was waiting... |
