Come to think of it, you don't have an accent -- everyone else does! If I've never told this before, it's about the first time Becki & I visited Amsterdam after having learned German. I heard people speaking Amsterdammer(?) Dutch and thought, what's with these Americans speaking pigeon-German on acid?
