Thanks Gavin, I'm surprised that there were no checks travelling by road into Belgium from France seeing as Belgium have stricter entry requirements for Brits than the French. I was going to drive the much longer route through northern France because I assumed we wouldn't be allowed to cross the border from France into Belgium without being checked.
