| Thank you, I agree. In particular the horrible bourbon / pinot noir / crude oil barrel aging craze; I'd already had enough of these abominations long before I left Orygun several years ago. I'd personally like to see proper 3.5% bitter (brewed northern-style) poured at the Bierkeller(s) though (but poured bayerischer Anstich, without the norhern pumping apparatus--especially the condition-destroying sparkler gadget!), if you want a glimpse into my perverse preferences... (Though, why would a with-Cascades-dry-hopped Rauchbier run into trouble Reinheitsgebot-wise?) |
