| "The Smoke" is the term used by those north of the Watford Gap for the sprawling urban agglomeration otherwise called "London." It is also seen as a place of a wide selection of overpriced and sometimes sub-par beers, but there have been quite a few positive developments in ol' Londinium of late, and there are still a few good places of both good-beer and historical interest. It remains to be seen of what happens in the Wells & Young houses, now that Young's has quit the beer-brewing business entirely. |
