| Agree, a wonderful old building, fantastic location with so much potential. When I first visited Bamberg over thirty years ago the potential was unrealised - there was no brewery tap at all. The development of the various inside and outside drinking areas was a great investment but they never got their act together over their beer policy. The original Schwaerzla and Pils were good but at one stage they had over a dozen different beers and later they went over to flip-top bottles. There was a brewery shop and all sorts of promotional stuff. The beer was always quite fizzy compared to other Bamberg brewery taps. |
