| Ah yes, Kitzman Rotbier - it was pretty decent, I could drink that! Not sure that it was as good as the draught Schanzee Rotbier - be good to have them side by side. Knocks Irish red beer into a cocked hat - or something. Weissenohe (how does the replacement of the fs - couldn't find the correct symbol if Fred's special characters - affect the pronunciation?) Green Monkey can stay up in the trees for me. Husky, yes, that's a good word to describe them both, bit like drinking a liquid compost heap. Two of the few beers that I haven't managed to finish. €3 ish a bottle for SS porter seems a bit steep, though it probably isn't any cheaper in the gold old UK. |
