| Knowing that the shelf life is short and handling is pretty crucial, but the beer is so tasty and fresh from PET. I would actually liken Czech beer (notwithstanding the macro rubbish) to real ale. Unfiltered, short shelf life, tap cleanliness crucial, same beer a shadow on keg... Bottled beer totally inferior ASIDE from the PET bottles which tastes very close (and sometimes better) than on tap. Note: some bottled conditioned British beers are excellent, but only in exceptional cases are they close of better than the cask version. I wouldht buy traditional Czech beer in a glass bottle. IPAs and modern style imports sure, but the delicacy of a desicka or s Svetly is lost in glass. If anyone knows anyone... |
