| Yes, heavily promoted by 'Spoons but, in spite of that, surprise, surprise, I won't be tempted - even with my 50p off vouchers. Had a very nice pint this afto in the Princess CB, Elgood's Thin Ice, not so strong and a good malt/hop balance. You'd like it Nick - don't know whether it will still be available in May, probably not because it is a 'Festbeer' from their so-called beer festival. Shame about Shepherd Neame - in the bad old days of London drinking in the 1970s, there were a few SN pub's in south-east London, which were well worth he trek from the far west. |
