There IS a beer fest in Erlangen on Sunday.

I agree that it looks like a US style beer festival. I however am trying to get a beer from every Franconian brewery (however small or large), so this sort event saves a lot faffing about, driving around breweries, bottle shops and outlets.

Most of these brew in Franconian so as far as I'm concerned, have to be done.
