Upcoming trip next week

I wouldn't go as far as to say they'll close pubs... I know other countries have done that, but being federal, Germany can isolate regions rather than the whole country. 

Still, it's a risk. If you can get your money back and relatively little losses then I would be tempted (reluctantly) to postpone until later in the year.
