Yes! I agree completely with Your opinions about the NEW Bamberg breweries. Fortunately I visited only Ahoernla (Franconian slang for "unicorn") and Sternla, only to find out that the beers are just mediocre, sometimes disappointing. The rural ones in the Landkreis are far,far better... But, even though not really a "new" one, it is hard to understand and a great mystery, why the worst of them all, the Ambräusianum is still "alive"...;-)
