| Hey Jürgen, thanks for the compliment! " I see, we've got the same taste in places. You've been to many of my favourites: Frauendorf, " Yes, a very nice place but I don´t know if the Hetzel strategy is so good: No own pub (only Sunday, no meals), beer only sold in a few markets in the area and in a few pubs... I like Hetzel Landbier very much (the beer in the clip bottle, perhaps it is bottled sonwhere else?), the Vollbier and Pils in normal bottles I don´t like so much... "Heiligenstadt" Also very very nice, I love the pub and Mr Aichinger humor and the rough grandma! Beer from tap is fantastic, bottled it´s not really so good... "Köttensdorf" Old style without end, but sometimes with horrible service... And beer a bit too strong ;) "Hintergereuth" Perhaps, the same brewery strategy as Frauendorf?!... "Birkach a. F." Isn´t in so good remenbrance. I know I´m standing here alone with my opinion but beer for me was nothing too special... "Appendorf" Oh yeah, the immortal Välta ;) "Hetzelsdorf" Beer is surely no longer a rarity, but it´s my favorite place! Where else do you have such an "alternative" clientel? Where esle such an amiable brewer? I love Hetzi! " But you've also visited the temples in which I'm paying homage to the holy gods of beer: Nankendorf," The Dunkel is really wonderful. Unfortenately Miss Schroll, mother of the brewer, is very old. And there is no other wife inside the brewery. How long she would be able to run the pub? Already now she doesn´t offer meals. When the pub closes, it was a shame... "Heilgersdorf" Really, a nice Märzen! "and Spielbach!" The place is a dream. I came there in the afternoon when pub is closed. Grandma served two beers, I had to shout and knock a long time for her ;) Pleas let me alive when I now say that beer was only franconian average... ;))) Danny |
