| The problem with Untergreuth is that it is in the opposite direction to the Schmausenkeller from Frensdorf. Also, the bus wouldn't really pass near the keller (or Reundorf) coming from Bamberg, it would go near Untergreuth, Frensdorf and on to Sambach. The stops on the line don't include Untergreuth (Bamaberg-Frensdorf-Sambach). I guess you could walk to Untergreuth from Frensdorf as its only about 2.2km. It's a great place, but I would say Schmausenkeller is better. As you know Barry, our German friends love their hiking and walking, so perhaps a 3km walk or so counts as 'passing nearby'. |
