As can probably be gathered by my posts on this subject Nick,I am a big fan of sams pubs.
They are reminders of how pubs where in my distant youth,mostly male clientele,and working class,sometimes take it or leave it service,(which I much prefer to "we hear what you say sir,have a nice day!") fake interest we oft get today. But thank God the fug of fag smoke has gone.If you are ever in the north of the uk try to get to Knaresborough,sam heaven!
