| I didn't realise until I read a piece on the Beeb this morning that visitors from the UK are still banned from entering the USA. This, apparently, is what prevented Ms Radacnu's family from attending her final in NYC. Given the high levels of vaccination, infection, etc. in the USA compared to the UK, this seems an odd situation, particularly as US-visitors can visit the UK, wander around and then return to the USA. It seems that Johnson is meeting Biden today and it is a topic that might be discussed. I'm not sure whether visitors from other European countries are allowed in the USA at present. Perhaps on of our Forum friends can enlighten us? |
