Grammar Tip: The Cases (very OT)

The Germans know how tough their grammar is, or at least appear to know. They expect people to struggle. (Schadenfreude!) And yes, generally they'll only interrupt someone's bad German if they really can't understand the person's point.

Most native English speakers don't speak book English either, of course. Human nature and all that.

AFA pronunciation goes, I like to tell Germans about how glad they should be that "hither" and "thither" have basically gone extinct, since English "th" is notoriously difficult for them.
