East of Bamberg

The further from Bamberg, the less interesting IMHO. But I'm not really introduced in the area, except Kulmbach, Baireuth and Weiden. Brewery density seems getting lower, the breweries that you find are kind of larger and more industrial. However, there seems to exist a (german language) beer guide to Oberpfalz, found some references at http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/3931904563/028-0666417-0532512 which might be helpful in the area.
