Legal age for drinking beer in Franken ? |

| My information is many years old, so things may have changed. It used to be the age for beer and wine was 16 and for spirits it was 18. I have been in more than one little countryside brewery on "pizza night" and the place was packed with (to me) young teens having beer and pizza. I realize as an official "old fart" that telling the difference between 16 and 18 year olds can be difficult -- but these all looked about 12 to me :) For what it is worth, I did find this: http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/LegalDrinkingAge.html but it doesn't explain what the "exceptions" are. |
