http://tinyurl.com/dortmunderbier is a very good documentary about the Dortmunder breweries. I've seen it a couple of times. I've never had an actual Dortmunder beer, and this really makes me wish I had. There's some great footage of the big old breweries, and interesting stories about the alliance of various parts of the population to the various breweries: Catholic - Protestant, working class - white collar, etc. "How Beer nearly Disappeared from Dortmund". It repeats a couple of times later in the night.
