Some culinaria stands and handcraftship stand. In the evening you can hear music (concerts) in the church. It's a nice opportunity to walk through the city. The loop road shows different crèches within churches and on open places. 33 stations with more than 400 crèches. http://www.bamberg.info/erlebnis/krippenstadt/krippenwandern/ a map: http://www.bamberg.info/erlebnis/krippenstadt/krippenwandern/?ansicht=karte&link2map=355&k=062e7ced1bfaf5e7790ae5c2d614d689 a list of all stations: http://www.frankenradar.de/events/bamberger-krippenweg-bamberg The Krippenweg presents a mix from cultural highlights and more modern, amateurish creches. Highlights are: The "Weihnachtsaltar" from Veit Stoß vom 1523 (within the Dome). Different creches and wax children, presented from the Diözesanmuseum. Historical Museum: Special exhibition about creches. Maternkapelle: Exhibition of the "Bamberger Krippenfreunde", a club of people who like the to do handicrafts of creches. There you cand find the "Schlenkerla" as a xmas theme. Obere Pfarre: a great creche with around 200 characters on average 0,45 meters.
