3 closures an the reason why (sorry, in German)

"The cases of the three closures have to do with pest infestation, mold/mildew, or considerable contamination of equipment. " It seems shocking to me that these three breweries would cease to brew (forever?) simply because of some pests (rodents??) and mildew. How hard could it be to correct such problems? I suppose the "considerable contamination of equipment" could be more difficult to rectify depending on exactly what that means.
