Is this the cheapest beer in Franconia?

Just recently I came across a survey what breweries charge for their beers in the Netherlands to their tied publicans. The average price was in the area of €110~€115 ex VAT for a 50 liter keg (approx €2,70 inc VAT per liter). Supermarkets offer the same beer in bottles for less than € 10/24*0,33l = approx € 1,25/liter inc VAT. Compare that with the prices just across the border, in Emmerich the Traugott Simon is for sale at Trinkgut @ €49,50 for a 50 liter keg (€ 0,99/liter inc VAT) And wonder why there is so much cross-border trade now... And why there is so much discontent from the pub-owners towards the breweries...
