Might I suggest Forchheim? I could even ring a few Ferienwohnungen for you...oh, wait...I already have! We'll get something sorted. Was out all day yesterday with a bike tour to the puppy school and back, with a stop at a lakeside restaurant with Kulmbacher beer. Pretty miserable stuff, very decent fish.
