Aschermittwoch...Ash Wednesday

I always drink a Fastenbier first -- of course you will find it sweet after the Märzen -- that is a feature, not a bug. The Fastenbier is supposed to be on the sweet side.

It was interesting that the Mahrs Weizenbock was server from a keg on Wednesday. That meant it was actually undercarbonated compared to the bottled (to it's detriment) plus it was too cold and you hand to let it warm up a bit.
