Problems with forum

Problem with Chrome - I can't download without it being swamped by Babylon.  I've read that this is a common complaint but all the supposed repairs are incredibly complicated - for me anyway.

I've used IE for so long that I've got used to it - it has all my bookmarks (favourites), addresses etc.  It seems a real bind to move to another browser but I am flirting with Firefox.
