Wagner Merkendorf Bottled Ungespundetes Lager

Hell's bells, now I can't remember if we capitalise adjectives in titles in English. Don't do it in Deutsch.

Anyway, am drinking one of these right now, and it is considerably better than the last time I had one, months ago. Well, there's no head to speak of, though the carbonation is OK and it's not overly gassy. But the flavour is fine and malty enough, and I think I would've KILLED for bottles of this (esp at 65 cents!) in Oregon a decade ago. Not great, per se, but not bad at all.

A bit astringent.
