| Can't say that I'm mad on either Bärlauch or Spargel - probably overdid it once on Spargel, so has put me off a bit. But, yes, there are loads of nice fruits and vegetables to eat. Meant to give a little tip for potential visitors to Schanzenbrau: if you're coming from the north (Bamberg direction) by train and you don't intend to go into Nurnberg, get off at Furth Hbhf and take U-line 1 to Barenschanze. You are then on the correct side of Furtherstr, so you only have to walk a 100 metres or so towards Nurnberg city centre, take first right turn, first right again and Schanzenbrau is a few metres away on the other side of Adam Klein Str. |
