Kout - bottles
Posted by barry on 2014-06-04 06:11:57
Only a reflection on PET v glass - I use PET bottles extensively for my homebrew and have never had a problem.  Also my previous tip - if you open and don't finish a PET bottle, squeeze the air out and put the top back on quickly.  The ongoing fermentation creates natural CO2 and fills out the space, seeming to absorb any air that gets in.  This way, I've kept beer alive in a PET bottle for several days after opening - maybe I should just drink more!
