OT (slightly): Munich Hbf

There you are, Jan, even the alternatives are not guaranteed. As you and Steve correctly guessed, it is ticket price that determines the routing. The difference is €27 for a Bayern ticket and 2 x €29 for 2 Spar price tickets. Remember that we are 2 impoverished pensioners with 7 weeks of Zoigl to fund!

Anyway, we'll just chance the 3 minute connection - DB are pretty good at timing these connections and holding trains if one is a few minutes late, as we have experienced a number of times. As we only have to cross the platform, it should be ok. If not, as you say, we can do a bit of shopping and, just maybe, walk up to Augustiner, which should be interesting.
